Hello Sheryl! My name is Karen Eberly. I was reading your profile/story and noticed that your husband had his surgery on 8/2/04 with the same surgeon's group as I. My surgery was also on 8/2/04. Dr. Abkin performed my surgery with Dr. Bertha assisting. Incidentally, exactly 3 months post-op (election day) I had kidney stones and wound up back at MMH. I have lost 110 pounds and seem to have leveled out at 149 pounds. I just wanted to contact you....I have probably seen you at their support group meetings at the Old Mill Inn (in fact, I was there last week). Feel fee to email me at snedly318@msn.com.
