Hello everyone, my name is Beatrice and I'm a close friend of Susan's and I wanted to let everyone know that Susan had her surgery yesterday and she is doing well. We expect the doctor to release her sometime today. Due to her sleep apnea (sp) they decided to keep her overnight to monitor her. I talked to her last night and she was in good spirits. Thank you for all of your prayers and support. I will keep you updated on her progress.

L. Susan, Please know that you will be in my thoughts as you have your surgery. I wish you a smooth and fast recovery. Dr. Duncan/Johnson in my opinion are great surgeons and I have all the faith in them. I am pre op but soon to be post op as well. Please update us on your progress and I would love to hear from you. Hi, I'd say don't be nervous, but heck, I was! Of course it was all for nothing (except I probably burned a few more calories) because my surgery went fine. I always say the week before surgery was harder than the week after (it was for me anyway). Keep it positive and and that includes having ONLY supportive people around you. You've made a wonderful and couragous decision to improve your health (of course in retrospect it seems like a "no brainer" to me now). Be proud of yourself; take care of yourself and I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true...
