Hi everyone! I just spoke to Susan. She's doing great! She made it though surgery with flying colors! She had her surgery on Thursday and she's already out of the hospital and is staying in a hotel with her mom (they're far from home). Her family is heading down right now to be with her. She's having some gas pains due to the lap procedure, but other than that she's doing very well. She has done a lot of walking the halls before she left the hospital and she will continue to do more walking. She's trying to get in her water and broth and jello and start with some protein shakes. She said her hospital meals were presented with covered platters as if it were a real meal--and when the cover was removed it contained water, hot water for tea, broth and jello. LOL She sounds great and is doing very well. She'll probably be heading for home on Thursday after she sees her doctor. Everyone, please let her know you're glad she made it to the other side.
