October 20, 2002. Dear Tracy: Congrat's on being 2 months post-op and surviving your second surgery! I must admit I was got so excited when I read your post; Reason? Because I'd experienced the same thing!!! I had Lap-RNY on August 20th, then, approximately 5-weeks later I ended up having emergency surgery for two adhesions in my small intestines. So, I have the Lap scars, and that big, ugly 'open' one. I must say, the second surgery was a lot harder on me than the second one. How are you coping with your new little baby? I hope okay. I work full time, and have a four year old------so, I know it can be so difficult, especially when you feel tired. Well, give me a write sometime and let me know how you're doing. We started out with almost the same BMI too! Maybe we could encourage one another? I've just started walking again, but I live in Minnesota, and Winter has come early!
