WEll I had a bit of a set back and was placed back in the hosptial on October 30th. I woke up with severe pain in upper right stomach. It felt much like kidney stones ( I had in April) but it was concentrated in front, not towards back. The pain was so intense, I almost passed out from hyperventlating. They checked for leaks right away..and there were none, however while in Cat Scan my heart stopped! SO they revived me fairly quickly..and needless to say my husband was a wreck..I was pretty out of it from pain meds. I was placed in ICU and had many tests...no clots, leaks and my heart checked out fine. They are not sure of what caused the pain..maybe gallbladder, but tests were inconclusive. I forgot to mention on Oct 28th I started getting cold/cough..a cough not a good thing with incisions..the cough got worse and worse and while in hospital they gave me cough syrup with sugar!!!!so I DUMPED bigtime. I am still struggling witht he cough..but it is not as painful...just dosen't allow for much rest. I have no energy, but do feel I am turning the corner and am hopeful tomorrow will be better.

I had my surgery on Oct 14 as planned. Had a bit of a scare with one of the drugs they gave me...so I ended up staying in hosp. for 6 days. I am doing well, and feeling better each day. THanks for all the messages of support!
