Oh my gosh, I am so happy for you!!!! Finally, you have your approval and a very quick surgery date!! I read your last post and know you are worried, but Jen you are going to be okay. As you know it's normal to have worries, but trust me you are going to do fantastic!!! I look forward to hearing your exact date. I'll be calling you over the weekend just to catch up!!

Welcome to AMOS!!! I hope you get your approval asap. I had my open rny in June,2001 and have lost 110 lbs. My husband had his in Oct 2001 and has lost 215 lbs (he was super obese too!). We both invite you to check out our profiles. Maybe they will help you a little. We also live in the San Diego area, La Mesa. I have found that the heat is not so bad now that I have lost weight.
