It's been a while since my last post. I was so excited about making it to wonderland, now as you can see I've gained 7 pounds. I'm still happy about losing 93lbs but I still feel like I have a long way to go before making my goal weight. Your support and words of encouragement are always welcomed. How is your journey going I would love to know?

Band Anniversary

Good Morning all, just wanted to give you a little updat I just made my one year on April 9th. This has truely been a battle over the last few weeks. I didn't make my 100 pound goal but I'm very close. To date I have lost an overal total of 90 lbs and I feel good. I hope your journey is going well. Stay blessed.

Almost 11 Months Post OP

Hello everyone, it has been a while since my last post. I have currently lost a total of 88 pounds, I have 12 more pounds to go to make 100 and with it being that close I can taste VICTORY!!!!!!!! My one year band anniversay is on April 9th and I am really hoping to make this goal. I can say it has truely been a battle, I had a stall for the longest time, but with a good support system and being determined to lose the weight and keep it off has helped me get through the stall. Thank you all for your prayes and support through it all.

Hello Oh Fam it has been a while since my last post but I wanted to take this time to update you on my progress. I am currently 4 1/2 months out and have lost 40 lbs since surgery. My total weight loss to date since I started my journey is 70lbs. I feel so good. I thank you all for your encouraging words and wisdom you have shared with me. FIRST FILL 5/26

I have had my first fill and things couldn't be better. Since my fill on Tuesday I have lost another 3 pounds. I have only had two episodes since my band was placed and that was because I wasn't focusing while eating and the other was because I let my grits stiffen up and they got stuck. Other than that I have been able to eat just fine. Since my surgery I have lost 23lbs and from my heaviest a total of 60lb. I still have a long way to go, but with me continuing to put GOD first I know I will make my goal weight. How is your journey going OH FAM?

Today I weighed in and discovered that I was officially the weight I have always LIED about on my drives license, boy was this a WOW moment for me. Surgery day I weighed in at 294 and today I am at 275. I get my first fill on May 26th, that seems like a long time from now but GLORY be to GOD for my new tool

Just wanted to let you all know that I am home and doing well. I am officially banded and my Hiatal Hernia has been repaired. I'm so thankful that the Lord saw me through it all. I will be posting pictures of my surgery day, and I thank you all for your support and prayers.
Surgical Clearence

Just to update you all on my progress, I am scheduled for surgery on April 9th, however I now have to have medical clearance from the cardiologist. I went for pre-op on April 1st and my blood pressure was very high (179/101 this is not normal for me at all) along with that they detected a heart murmur and immediately schedule me with a cardiologist for clearance prior to my surgery date. To think that there may be something wrong with my heart is very never recking.
I pray that all goes well and I receive medical clearance this TuesdayApril 6th. Please keep me in your prayers. Thank you.
