I got my tickets for the convention in Anaheim.  My husband is attending with me.  

I am so excited to be able to surround myself with people who are on a similar journey and where for once, I will be in the "majority".

This is my time to come out, share who I am, open up about my journey and make new friends.

Lately, I have been feeling frustrated because I am four years post-op and do not have the funds for plastic surgery.  I continue to deal with my orthopedic health issues, and am not working, so, no workie, no credit to be extended for surgery.  I need one of three things to happen:  a fund raiser, someone to do my needed work pro bono. or find a surgeon who I can market for and earn my procedures.  

I worked hard to come this far.  I have and continue to be a help to many people. AAll I want is to step out of the flub, and completes my transformation. 

So while being frustrated, I looked at my before pictures, and where I am at now, and all I could feel was joy!  

I have accomplished alot on my big fat journey!
