weight right after surgery.

I had my sleeve on oct. 2nd. J am now home doing very good. The pain was awful the first couple. of day's mostly gas. I had to come home with oxygen but that is also getting better. This morning I decided to weigh myself and I'm up 8lbs. I know this cannot be true weight, but it still discouraged me. Has this happened to anyone else?

Tomorrow will be heading out for the three hour dr to the hospital to do pretesting, surgery the next morning. I haven't been nervous until last night. I worry about failing. I an 56 yrs old with a lifetime of dieting and regaining it back. Been on low carb and have only lost 12lbs in 6 weeks. But I haven't exercised, so hopefully after the surgery I will press to exercise and do what ever it will take to get this weight off and get my life back. So with Gods help here we go!
