Waiting is so hard!

I put in a request for a referral for plastic surgery over 2 months ago, almost 3 and I'm still waiting. It's driving me buggy, but I keep getting told they have to review my medical records before I can even see the plastic surgeon and that even then, the Army hospital here probably won't do it and I'll get referred out. Which is fine, but come on!!! Just refer me out if you already know you won't be able to do the surgery. My saggy skin has sags of its own.
But at least I finally got a doctor who would give me a referral, when I first asked I was told I didn't need it. Come on, I've gone from almost 500 pounds to 230. Of course I have saggy skin and need surgery to remove it. Thankfully I switched PCP and got a woman, because my male doctor I first had pretty much told me to suck it up and live with it. Beleive me, if it was on his body he wouldn want it cut off too.
