Hi kevin! I am so happy for you that you are starting your new life! I am 27 years old and had surgery on oct 4th and i am doing great! I hope your recovery is as painless as mine has been! I am sure your doc is great and with your mom having surgery as well, she can help you when you are making food choices. Best of luck tomarow! monica

Hi Kevin, You are so wise to be having this surgery at a young age. You will prevent lots of diseases and complications that come with being fat, besides it is just not fun to be fat. Hello Keven B. Good luck on your surgery, My son had wls on 5/13/04, he is doing just great He started at 475 and is already down to 334! Now I am getting for surgery, hopefully in December 04. Bless you on your journey and a speedy recovery! Trish
