"I had met Dr. Leggett prior to MY first appointment with him. I was with my sister-in-law(also a patient of Dr. Leggett's) who was there for a post-op follow up appt. My first impression was that he was a very caring surgeon who listens to what his patients are saying. He also seems very thorough in making sure his patients are healing well and becoming healthier individuals. Dr. Leggett's office staff are well educated and fairly well organized. They are also able to explain how the pre-op appointments and procedures work and help you understand what you need to do before having the surgery. The only thing I disliked about the situation was that the surgeon himself only saw me for about twenty seconds and his staff saw me the rest of the time. What future patients should know is that the whole first visit process moves very quickly and I would recommend having researched what goes on before the surgery so as not to feel overwhelmed. Dr. Leggett really pushes for follow ups and blood work to make sure everything is okay and also recommends continued attendence to the Support Group. I dealt more with his associates during the process of my surgery than I did him, but all of his staff was great even though I have a few that I like much more than others. I had and continue to have great success with them so far in my journey. "
