Sept. 9, 2004 This is my first entry. I have been approved, and the date will be in the middle of October. I'm nervous and scared. I have a wonderful hand holder named Michele. I have done every single thing the nurse practitioner recommended for me to do. I have had a mammogram, seen an ob/gyn, I haven't had the love of my life (Pepsi) for two weeks now. I no longer drink any sugar drinks, mostly water which I sip. Did I say I was nervous? Oh I guess I did! I had a wonderful ob/gyn, Dr. Weatherford, she was the sweetest Dr. I have ever met! I'm scheduled for a psych consult on October 4. I'm waiting for my pre-op scheduling. My husband really doesn't know what to expect or think. I don't know if he really truly understands the life altering change I'm going through. . .I guess he'll figure it out. Oh by the way . . . did I say I was nervous!
