Well I,m now in my eighth day post-op and feeling really good. I'm thrilled and joyful at present, went to get blood work at Doc's office and I've lost "17" pounds, thank the Lord. I've been walking with my wife daily and it's wonderful.

I am so Happy for you that everything went well and you are now on the losing side!! I hope you have a speedy recovery and are able to get your fluids and protien in. Just remember to sip sip sip.....from what I have been told LOL Wishing you the best! Take care!

7/23/05 I'm 5 days post-op and my surgery went very well. The surgeon told my wife that nothing could have went better in the procedure. I had an uneventful hospital stay and was blessed by having a caring nursing staff. My wife stayed with me as much as she could(works full-time also)while I was in the hospital, she has been a real trooper from the very beginning. I honestly don't think I could have done this without her. I'm still sore but, I'm up moving about. I'm having a hard time making 3oz of something last 30 minutes.I also have diarrhea,(probably caused by the other).As far as weight loss goes,gained 3lbs in hospital and nothing since I've been home. It's still real early so brighter days are ahead. God Bless!! For now.

Bruce, I just read your profile today and seen you were to have your surgery earlier this week. I hope everything went very well and wish you all the luck in your recovery!! Please post as soon as you can so we all may know you are doing well! Bright Blessings!!!

Hi Bruce, I wish you the very best of luck and God's blessings with your surgery. I heard you were a fellow Buckeye lover and just had to stop by and wish you the best. My surgery is this Thursday. We need to put our faith in God and let Him take over for us. Also, think how much thinner we will both be when it's time for the Buck's first game. You will be in my prayers. Denise
