After leaving support group,  called my best friend and made her go walking with me.  I guess you could call it the weight loss version of Scared Straight.  He told a story about 7 women who had lost a lot of weight after he performed surgery on them only to gain it back.  This is a big fear of mine because I believe that the pounds that I am loosing now will never be seen again.  So the idea of them coming back is very scary.  Needless to say I left that meeting with a new sense of purpose and renewed viggor in my weight loss journey.  Please pray that I will be able to maintain this sense of urgency where my weight is concerned.
