Getting depressed

Today my husband is having back surgery..We've been at the hospital all day. I hope all is going well for him.
My new friends here on obesity.com are having or already have had surgery. .And I am getting so bummed out about not being able to have mine. My thyroid level is a little elevated so until its normal, no surgery. But I am so glad to hear about their success after surgery..They are doing so well.

I need to update my blog..Since I am not going to have my surgery on the september 30th I am back to waiting.
Need to contact my Dr office about my insurance. maybe will I won't have it after january 1st.
Then I will be in a pickle.

Well I finally got a date for my surgery September 30TH..
All the test came out good. So I got my clearance to start my liquid diet.
BUT...........I have a class reunion saturday night..Paid a lot for the dinner and dance.
So this should be hard for me..So tempting.

happy color..Tried yellow but you couldn't see it.
Tomorrow I go for my all day physical.
If all goes well I sould get my surgery scheduled.
Will post tomorrow evening with the results.

So many nice friends on here..Its wonderful to be in such good company.
The information is plenty and helpful. It sure helps all the people who are waiting for their surgery
or have had theirs already. Comfort and confidence shared; is really great for everyone.

I received the okay last week and my Dr's office has been slow in getting the test set up,
So I called Mary at Dr Glascocks office and she said she could do it faster in cedar falls where his office is.
When I called her she wanted me to call as soon as I found out. They had closed by the time I called back.
Got my fingers cross I will get a call from her tomorrow.
Then I can get on to the next stage a surgery date.

The weather has improved and cooling down.
It was so much fun setting up the pool on memorial weekend..Now we have to take it down clean and dry everything for storage.Yuck sounds like a lot of work.

Called the Dr's office and left a message..She called; that is Mary the scheduler did and said I needed to get started with the pre op surgery work up. Blood work, XRAY,,EKG, ultra sound of body, clearance from heart specialist and Pulmonary Dr. Also have to get a c pap because I had been diagnosis with sleep apnea.

Finished my protein drink and oatmeal I had for breakfast.
Really not doing to much..Going to the church for our vow renewal at 2:00.
So I showered and just waiting until its time to leave home.

Not busy today. I did make some fall cards this morning..I was very happy with them because they turned out well.
