I started researching Bariatric surgery September 2007. I decided to go to the information meeting at Unity Hospital on my wife's birthday October 6, 2007. I decided now is the time. At that meeting my wife also decided to fill out the paper work as well. She said lets do this journey together. AWESOME wife huh!! My surgery is scheduled for April 21, 2008. My wife had Lap Band Surgery April 10, 2008. She is a trooper and doing great. No pain meds at all. I am so very proud of her. The day of my surgery is one day after our 23rd wedding anniversary! We'll conquer our bad eating habits together and enjoy a healthier life.
