How I lost over 100 lbs...

Dec 08, 2006

In April 2004, I topped out at 327 lbs.  On Nov. 8, 2004, I weighed 217 lbs.  In that short period of time I lost 110 lbs, thanks mostly to Gastric Bypass Bariatric Surgery.  I have had quite a bit of success with my weight loss, but Bariatric Surgery is not a miracle cure.  It takes a lot of work and the surgery will change your life.  You need to be ready for that change or you will not succeed.  Before you decide to undergo weight loss surgery, do your research.  Bariatric surgery should only be your last resort when all other diets and programs have failed, because surgery can be very dangerous.  People have died from this surgery and there can be complications.  I’ve had a couple of complications myself.  Learn all you can about the surgery and choose an experienced doctor with a good track record.  Your surgeon should be with a clinic that offers a lot of aftercare support, because you are going to need it.  Hopefully the information provided hare at ObesityHelp.com will help.  You can also find more information and read my entire weight loss story at http://FreedomExpress.net/WLS

Taken Nov. 8, 2004... I'm carrying my friend Michelle on my shoulder. She weighs 110 lbs, and that's the amount of weight I've lost. So when I was at my largest, it was like I carried a Michelle everywhere I went.
