125 pounds for the last two and a half years :)

I have maintained my weight of 115-130 pounds, it fluctuates from winter to summer but mostly around 125 solid for the last 2 1/2 years. I exercise by walking a few times a week and I would say that I don't eat that healthy but I don't eat in excess. Seven years out woohoo!!!

Behaving badly

I am screwing this thing up lately. I have been drinking soda and have been eating too many carbs. I weigh the same but should have lost more weight than I have. I need to keep working out, which I haven't been. On April 23, 2008 I will be one year post-op. I hope to be down a hundred pounds by then, so I need to lose about 13 pounds to reach that goal. It is do-able. I have been making myself sick for the last two months by eating the wrong foods, and I need to correct this behavior quickly before I fall back into the same place I was a year ago. Overweight, unhealthy and unhappy. I feel my best when I am taling care of myself, which I haven't been lately. Eating the right way isn't like rocketscience. It has nothing to do with not knowing how, it has to do with motivation and the willingness to make the necessary changes. I hope that by the next blog I post, I can happily report that I am helping myself to a better life.
