Just a note to say that I am out of the hosp and doing well. I want to thanks all of my friends that posted for me. My foot and leg are still numb and I can't lift my foot upwards but other than that the lap rny went great. 15 pounds down so far. God be with all having their surgery this upcoming week.

I just spoke to Holly and she sounded the best that she has in over a week! She is still in the hospital, and I don't know when she will be getting discharged. Tonight her oldest daughter will be graduating from North Pole H.S., and the doctor is allowing Holly to go to the graduation. The second surgery was successful, clip a little stitch and everything was fine. Then Holly had some infection problems, but it sounds like those are clearing up. So... that's the update from WARM ALASKA... 81 degrees out right now... Holly might be appreciating that air conditioning in the hospital <grin>. Take care!

Dear Holly~~~~I am sorry that you have had some setbacks and had to have a second surgery. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a complete recovery. I had a pinched nerve from the position I was in on the OR table. My entire leg was numb and very uncomfortable for three days. I think that is the reason I don't recall much belly pain--my discomfort was elsewhere. May God continue to watch over you. Be well. Be blessed.

holly went back to surgery today...she had some problems keeping things down. she also somehow pinched a nerve in her leg and is in lots of pain. please say a prayer for her and continue your support. thanks. kim (2 more days).
