*****ANGEL ON DUTY***** I went up to BTC and saw Chrlie today and she looked like she was recovering nicely. She was a little drowsy while we were talking, so I made the visit a short one. I printed out her card of well wishes from her AMOS family and she was happy to see so many people love her! She passed her leak test and was sipping water and has had a popsicle! If all goes as planned, Charlie should be going home tomorrow. Her Mother has flown to Iowa to visit with her and help as she is recovering. Charlie will get to see her the moment she gets home. There is nothing like having your Mom with you when you aren't feeling well! Charlie is a trooper and she will get through these next few weeks with flying colors! Congratulations! Charlie and welcome to the "Big Fat Loser's Club" where being a loser is a GOOD thing! Love your friend and angel, Karen

Hi, Charlie Girl. Your Angel has informed us you are doing well and up walking. Just want to say CONRATULATIONS! You now have a New Birthday to celebrate. You are now offically a member of the BIG LOSERS CLUB this not a bad club to be in now! You will be moving on over to the liter side of life, what a joyous thing that must be. *****ANGEL ON DUTY***** I just called Charlie and she sounds EXCELLENT!!! She had a LATE surgery yesterday and sounded really good this morning. She said she had a little muscle pain just under her ribs and that the morphine was making her slightly nauseous. She has been up walking a few times. The doctor said her surgery went very well and everything looked good inside. Congratulations, Charlie! Welcome to the "lighter" side of life! Everyone please take a moment to post CONGRATULATIONS on Charlie's surgery page as I am going to print out her card and take it to her tomorrow! THANKS!!!!

^j^ ANGEL REPORTING ^j^ I just called BTC and Charlie is back up from surgery and resting in her room. Her surgery was supposed to be around 1 PM and she didn't go in until at least 5 PM. The doctor must have had some complicated surgeries before hers. Everyone say a prayer for Charlie to feel better soon. I will call her tomorrow and report in around noon.

(\0/) Angel coming in for a landing...LOOK OUT BELOW! (\0/) I just called BTC and they STILL haven't gotten Charlie into surgery. She was supposed to go in around NOON and it is 4:30 PM Central time. I'm glad mine was the first of the day! I can ONLY imagine how nervous Charlie is right now. I spoke to her at 11:30 this morning and tried my best to put her fears to rest. I will call BTC later on around 8:00 PM and report how everything is going for Charlie. Everyone please say a prayer and ask for Charlie to have an uncomplicated procedure and quick recovery! THANKS!!
