Mary Murphy
"March 31, 2003, I just received my paperwork and flight information and I have been assigned to Dr. Mary Murphy at Pacific Bariatrics in San Diego. I go on April 10th for appointments with the surgeon, internist and psych. Kaiser pays my flight and taxi while there. I haven't met Dr. Murphy yet so I will post again after the appointment. April 12, 2003 I had all my consultation appointments on 4/10. I was quite pleased with Dr. Mary Murphy. She seemed to really show an interest in me and never made me feel that she was in a hurry. She was very clear on the possible side effects and what she wants with her patients. I had already begun changing my habits by giving up sodas and caffine 2/1/2003. I have been exercising and have been taking the ProComplex for about 3 weeks. I had actually lost 3 pounds since my orientation. Dr. Murphy said for me to continue to work on losing weight and to make sure I don't gain any or my surgery could be cancelled. I feel I am in good hands. "
