Well... I am 29 days post-op. I hae lost 19lbs. I feel that it is much slower than what I have heard from others, but am still content that I am lossing. I see no difference yet, but I guess that will come in time. I am happiest that I have not had to throw-up even once! That was one of my biggest concerns! :-)

Wellllllll..... I'm home! I made it to the hospital by 9:30am on Monday and said goodbye to my boyfriend at 10:30. I was in the holding room a little before 11am and woke up in recovery a little after 3pm. I was discharged Friday night at 7:30pm and made it about 15 minutes down the road before my thrat closed up with some kind of allergic reaction and ended up back in the ER by 8:02pm! I was sooooo bummmed! Spend one more night on Post ICU getting IV Benedryl Q6. Came home Saturday early afternoon... am doin pretty good sooooooo far, not to comfy all the time, but making out okay. Lost 10 pounds in the hospital! How much fluid are we supposed to intake a day?????

Well, my date is almost here... I am excited, nervous, terified! I am feeling better about being put under, but still afraid... although I know this is normal, I feel a bit like a chicken since I am a nurse! My patients go through much worse... Thank you everyone for the lovely comments... I need your prays and will think of all of you who have already been there on... Monday is fast approaching... I wish it was Tuesday! :-)
