Well, I made it! And it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be! Still pretty sore, but otherwise, I'm doing great. No nausea or dumping yet (but I'm hardly pushing it to find out either). Not really hungry yet. It is hard to get in all that water too. I'm afraid I'm going to stretch the pouch by drinking it too fast. Can that happen? Oh well, the hard part is over and behind me. Now the real fun begins! Kathy

Katy, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. Hello Kathy, Best of wishes to you on your journey to the land of the losing...One very good thing about being at the hospital is that you will have surgery first..I did and was so glad. My surgery lasted longer then expected so the next person was delayed by 2 hours. That meant that by the time the docs were ready for number 4 (last of the day) that the scheudule was more then 5 hours behind. I think having the docs in great physical and mental shape is to your benefit. Roll out of that bed and don't be late!! LOL God speed... KimmieTN

Hello Katy.....I hope you and your Mom have a safe trip to and from the hospital. I pray your surgery goes well and that you have a speedy and complication free recovery. Remember to walk, cough and breathe deep after surgery. I wish you all the best on the other side!!! PEACE
