Margaret, I am wishing you a successful, complication-free surgery and a quick, smooth recovery. I had my Open RNY on 12/10/01 and have absolutely NO regrets other than not having had it several years sooner. It is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you begin your healthy new life.

Best wishes to you on your upcoming surgery. I know it seems a long time to wait, but it is worth it. Do yourself a favor and start drinking your water now!!! Start your walking NOW!!! Don't put it off. If you start now you will be in better shape for your surgery. It will make it much easier. My husband and I both had our surgery in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 280 lbs, we are not done yet. We both have about 50 lbs more to go. Please get ready for this life saving procedure.
