daddy is still in the hospital. he had his surgery open and while they were in there, dr miles found two large hernias and repaired them. he was in sicu until thursday night, then he went to a regular room. his blood pressure and his sugar were messed up...but he is doing ok! cant wait til he gets home!!

Hi Mike, I was happy to see all of you at the meeting Saturday night. I am praying for you and Brandi and I'm sure that God will take care of you and you both will do fine. Mike, Wishing you a speedy recovery. Keep smiling and know you are on the losing side, now. When you get a case of the lonelies and you think nobody's there, to love, support and listen... or show they even care... Just reach into your thoughts and pull out this little note. Daddy!!! can u believe it's our turn? it seems like just yesterday we were doing our pre-op doctor visits and psych evaluation...i had my doubts there...didnt you?? i am so proud of u. i am also glad we are all doing this together. i would be scared if i was alone! just wait...when we are there (IN 3 DAYS!!) i am gonna come to ur room every few minutes, call u all day, and even tell the nurses to harass u too! just kidding! :) I LOVE YOU! and i can't wait til we are BIG LOSERS! that will rock! (((hugs)))

Mike~ Good luck on your upcoming surgery. I have mine the day before you. I understand completely about the scared the feelings, don't worry it is normal. I pray that you will have a complication free surgery and a speedy recovery. My prayers are with you. God bless!
