"I switched surgeons! I was on the waiting list for Dr. Ayres in Toronto, Ontario for 2 years and had no idea when my surgery might be. The unknown was killing me so I decided I had to do something for my sanity I am now scheduled for surgery this Friday and am going laporscopically instead of open. I am both nervous and excited but I think the nervous part is taking over. Dr. O'Malley is awesome! He has such a compasionate outlook on things compared to the Canadian surgeon I had seen. He was thorough when it came to describing the risks in the initial seminar. He also has an exceptional team working for him. He was so caring when he saw how much of a basket case I was before surgery and came to check on me several times in the hospital. Overall, I think that I made a great decision choosing him."
