JODI- I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. I TOO WAS A CAREGIVER TO MY MOTHER AND FATHER AND THEY PASSED AWAY WITHIN A YEAR FROM EACH OTHER. SO I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. LET ME TELL YOU TO CRY AND GRIEVE AND TO GET IT OUT. I DIDN'T DO THAT, I THOUGHT I NEEDED TO BE STRONG FOR THE REST OF THE FAMILY. VERY WRONG MOVE ON MY PART. THAT IS WHAT PUT ME INTO A VERY DEEP DEPRESSION FOR 14 YEARS AND HOW I GAINED ALL MY WEIGHT BACK. IN TIME YOU WILL BE ABLE TO REMEMBER ALL THE WONDERFUL TIMES WITH YOUR DAD. UNTILL THEN REMEMBER THAT WE ARE ALL HERE FOR YOU IN YOUR TIME OF NEED. SENDING YOU POSITIVE VIBES, THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS TO HELP YOU THROUGH THIS TIME OF SORROW. (((((BIG HUGS TO YOU)))))

Jodi, I've not 'met' you, but any friend of Robyn's is a friend of mine. I'm sooo sorry for your loss. I have experienced this, in the loss of my mom recently, and my dad is not far behind her now...it is a life passage I would rather have lived without. I do not claim to be on an inside track, but I will hold you and your family in my prayers.

Please help me send support to a dear friend and fellow WLS Loser, Jodi lost her father today. He suffered through a long illness. Jodi is the caregiver in her family and this has been a very difficult time for her. Not only has Jodi lost 240 pounds through WLS but she is always there for others and is a frequent group leader at the Coastal Center for Obesity in person support group meetings in Santa Ana. Please help me assauge Jodi's emotional pain right now by sending sympathy and well wishes to Jodi and her family by signing her support page.
