Angel update on John. John had a rough day yesterday. I talked to John's partner Terry and John was having quite a bit of trouble breathing. He also was in a lot of pain and couldn't sit in the chair very long. Late in the afternoon yesterday John was taken for a lung scan to see if he had a blood clot and they put a nurse in his room full time (no room in intensive care). This afternoon they took John back to surgery. The doctor felt that something was wrong in the abdomen, not necessarily a blood clot. I have just talked to Terry again and John is out of surgery and in intensive care on a respirator. They will keep him sedated while he is on the respirator. Seems John had a leak and the fluid was pressing on his diaphram, causing the breathing difficulties. John's new pouch was repaired and we are praying for an uphill recovery from now on. Please pray for John's fast and full recovery. And support goes to Terry and John's family.

Angel stopping in!!!!!!!!!! John has tripped into the light fantastic! And a graceful trip it was. I spoke with John last nite and he is doing great! His surgery lasted about 5 hours tho, something about his stomach being twisted. He was rather perky, after his long nap, but a little uncomfortable. But using his new best friend, morphine, to help out. Today he has his leak test and he is not looking forward to that. Will post more later after talking to him. Welcome to the other side John, Love you!
