Okay she is up and moving. She has had several 2oz drinks today and has had to have something for feeling sick but she said it wasn't to bad really. They took her while we were on the phone to have a leak test done and no leaks seen. Sounds like it is going good.

She came through the surgery with no problems. When I talked to her last night she was sucking on a glucose stick. I haven't spoke with her today but I am sure everything is okay since my dad hasn't called me.

Okay let me start by saying that I am Diana's oldest child/ baby sister. When she went back to school we all worried because we knew how sick she had been and how hard it was for her to do somethings for a while. I am very proud of her and I can't wait to see how this works. She is my guinea pig. I am also overweight and have been most of my life. Let's just say I can't remember a time that I was "small". As for my brother he will always be a worrier because he comes by it naturally. In case she didn't tell you she is also a worrier so we all know where he gets it from. Please keep her in your prayers and I will let you know how all goes.

Best Wishes for a successful surgery and smooth recovery! Weigh to go! I just read another post from someone who just had surgery and the thing that hurts the most is their BACK. And it is PAINFUL, not just uncomfortable. THE LAST THING YOU NEED TO TELL YOUR SURGEON, BEFORE THEY PUT YOU UNDER, IS TO PUT SOMETHING UNDER YOUR KNEES TO TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF YOUR BACK!!! Time and time again folks are coming out of the O.R. and their back is killing them. It’s because you are lying flat on your back for hours on a hard surface. How long can you do that now? If the surgeon will just put a rolled up blanket under your knees this problem will be eliminated! Got It?... Good…. Problem solved. (Or at least talk it over with him/her).
