"My impression of Dr. Gupta was that she showed complete confidence in her ability to do this surgery. She also truly believed in the surgery itself...and how it benefits those needing it. She didn't sugar coat anything...especially the risks...laying it all out there on the table...but letting us all know that there are also risks to not having it. She seemed to really care about the obese..and the reasons behind being obese...which in turn shows you that she cares about you as a patient who is obese. I feel very confident in her being my surgeon...I feel more at ease now that I have met and talked with her than I did before meeting her. She has a great "bedside manor", and seems very compassionate. "
