Today is Nov.10,2003, I did something very, very new for me this weekend I went to a prayer lunch it was about fifteen of us there.I didn't know at the time that I was in for a change. I told them about my up coming surgery. I didn't know so many people come offer so much love ,caring ,and support. I was a guess , no way did I think they would act as they did ,I told one person I was ashamed of my fat body and you'll laugh to hear what she said , she told me we were in the same boat , she was ashamed of her super thin body , I stood there with my mouth open, we just never know what some people are going through. I'm getting out and during more than I ever dreamed of , before this I stayed at home and didn't go out. Look out world I'm coming OUT.

La Vada, I had to send you a message because we are having surgery on the same day!! Yippee!! I am having my surgery done in Temple and you just up I-35 in Dallas. I'll be thinking about you and say a prayer for a speedy recovery for you! We'll be on the other side soon!

Have you ever seen the movie: THE WIZARD OF OZ??? Well, soon you will be saying what the wicked witch said when Dorothy threw a bucket of water on her: "I'M MELTING!! I'M MELTING!!!" Those lbs will just melt off of you soon. You will soon be walking down the YELLOW BRICK ROAD to see the WIZARD OF OZ and your sweetest wish will be granted. Congratulations and good luck to you. My husband and I both had our open rny's at Pacific Bariatric in San Diego in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 325 lbs. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
