"I first met Dr.Gorospe during a pre-op information class he does with all his surgery patients. I thought he was extremely considerate and informative about the surgery. I noticed how patient and attentive he was to all of us.
Dr. Gorospe informed me of the series of tests I needed before the surgery and seemed to be very cautious, never risking my health in any way. I am very happy with him. There hasn't been one minute I've doubted that I made the right decision in choosing him as my doctor. I've worked on a surgical floor before and I've never seen a doctor who cared about his patients comfort like Dr. Gorospe.
The staff in the office was wonderful (very patient) answering all of my questions. The fact that doctor Gorospe has an assistant (Michelle) available to me all of the time. She had the bypass surgery a few years ago. That makes me feel more comfortable should questions arise that don't need a Doctor but someone who has been there. There are meetings every month to help pre-op and post-op patients learn from each other about diets and what they will go through.
The one thing I would tell someone who is about to the have this surgery is this:I'm sitting in a chair, I'm 10 days post-op, I'm comfortable. Thanks to Dr. Gorospe I'm on my way to a healthier life.
Frankly I think I got the best surgeon out there. He is a caring, capable, informative doctor that seems to care about how everyone of his patients feel.
