Angel Report - I visited with Kristine last night - she is now at home and resting up. She said she was going to go to Nordstroms today if she felt up to it. Kris you're doing so good! Thank you for being my wonderful angel two weeks ago - I hope you do as well as I have with this - it seems like you will do just fine. I wish you lots of happiness on your new life! Love, Mae

I am not Kristine's angel, but I want everyone to know that she is really doing fine. Yesterday, I went to see Kristine in the hospital. She looked fabulous. It was hard to believe that she was less than 24 hours post-op. She was wearing her own PJs and not interested in taking her pain medication. She had been up and walking - and wanted to walk again. There was color in her cheeks and a smile on her face. She is going to do very well. Joanna, her angel was there too, and we decided that Kristine is young and strong. Both Joanna and I have been successful WLS folks but felt a little "old" when we compared ourselves to a very vital Kirstine. Best of luck and welcome to the other side.

~~ANGEL IN FOR A LANDING~~ I met with Kristine and another Angelite (Susan...what a kick!). She was dancing down the halls and when we left she was trying to talk her doctor into letting her go home! Youth and attitude are amazing! The Luckiest (and apparantely OLD)angel
