Hi Carlie, Best wishes to you and I wish a speedy and happy recovery. Debbie from Dr. Powell's officee has been keeping my posted on your surgery and recovery.. she had explained that you did just wonderful. I am so proud of you. I will keeping up with your progress. **ANGEL OFF DUTY** I visited with Carlie and her sweetie today at great length. What a terrific couple! I am so proud of you Miss Carlie - She looked wonderful and was waiting for her discharge instructions. YAHOO! Welcome to the other side Baby!

Hi Carlie, I applaud you on your decision to have WLS. I am just over 4 months post-op from Lap RNY and couldn't be happier. In June I finished my 3rd Masters Degree at CSUN - so we have been fellow student at Northridge. I live and work in Glendale. If you need to talk about WLS, email me and we can work out the details. Don't be overly concerned about the lack of family support. Probably, they are just really scared. I'll bet they change their minds when you are out of danger. Keep a happy attitude. Susan
