Hello everyone. I am finally able to sit at my computer and update. I went through a really hard time with this surgery. I had the worst back pain I had ever had in my life. I was released from the hospital on Thursday the 10th and went to the emergency room on Saturday because I couldn't handle the pain anymore. It turned out I had pneumonia. What a blow. I was admitted for another 4 days. I cried and cried, "why did I do this?" I went through alot of depression also. I still have that pain in my lower back but the doctors keep telling me it is from the pneumonia. I am having a hard time believing that. I also had my spleen removed because they said it ruptured when they were doing the surgery. I am also having a hard time dealing with that. I am getting better each day but it is such a big change. I did alot of praying while in the hospital. I am always so worried about whats next. Dr. Greenbaum is a very good surgeon but he needs to work in another Hospital. Rancocas hospital needs alot of improving, including the staff. I was very uncomfortable there and it isn't what you call the cleanest of hospitals. If I do have to go back into the hospital, I will not be going there. Dr. G will have to understand. Other than the gripes about the procedure I will let you know later whether I am glad I did this.

WENDY WENT BACK INTO THE HOSPITAL ON SATURDAY FOR SEVERE PAIN IN HER LOWER BACK .HER DR AS OF TUESDAY AUGUST 15TH WAS STILL NOT QUITE SURE WHY SHE WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN HE THOUGHT MAYBE SHE HAD PNOMONIA HOPEFULLY HER PCP STEPPED IN AND TRANSFERRED HER INTO WEST JERSEY VOORHEES.

I WENT TO VISIT WENDY AT THE HOSPITAL YESTERDAY AND SHE WAS SLEEPING. WHEN SHE WOKE UP SHE SEEMED VERY GROGGY AND WAS IN ALOT OF PAIN.SHE HAD TO HAVE HER SPLEEN REMOVED DURING SURGERY IT HAD RUPTURED. I HOPE SHE IS FEELING BETTER TODAY. I WILL CALL HER TOMORROW.

Wendy is on the other side as of 5:30pm today. I spoke to her mother in law around 4:00pm and she had not heard anything yet so i called the hospital and they said she was in recovery.Around 8:00 i spoke to the nurse on her floor and she said she is doing fine and still very groggy but all went well i will go see her tomorrow.
