"I contacted Dr. Ash's office after doing some research on the Internet. My first contact was with Susan, and then with Charlotte, and they are so incredibly helpful. They sent me a packet of information, and I filled it out and mailed it back to them. My insurance company (United HealthCare) approved after the first letter. I had my first meeting with Dr. Ash in March, 2002. He is very helpful, very polite, very informative, and willing to answer any and all questions. I was concerned because I live two hours away, but he assured me that this is not a "surgery center," and I will be taken care of for follow-ups and in case of any complications. My surgery is scheduled for April 17, 2002."
