"I first had an appt with Dr. Newhook back in September and I was given the basic info. on the surgery. He seems like a very informative person when speaking on this particular type of surgery. He told me to go home, give it a week, and call him back the following week with my decision. Of course, I called back and told him that I really wanted this procedure so his secretary set me up with a pre-op visit for October 24th, 2001. Will update after my visit.------------I saw Dr. Newhook today and he has agreed to do my surgery!!! We are getting the ball rolling on my pre-op testing. My first test is scheduled for Nov.6 and is a endoscopy. After this test will follow a EKG and a sleep apnea test. "
