Finally, Andrea! I am so happy for you! You've been through way too much trippin' with them folks, but you are going to be on the Other Side and lookin' good before you know it! Well, I was denied again with Kaiser. I forwarded my information to the Department of Managed Health Care and filed a claim. It took DMHC 30 days to the day to overturn Kaiser's decision. I was contacted by Kaiser SSF and given dates for my orientation, surgeon, nutrition, another psych eval appt. It all happened on one day. I was told I had to lose 25-30 lbs. Dr. Umbach will be my surgeon. I am going to have the LAP surgery. My date is January 30, 2003. I can't say that I have lost all the weight**** actually about half***oops! I will check in after the surgery and give the low down on my experience.

1/28/03 - I guess my Sista4Life Andrea has forgotten to update her page. She is scheduled to have surgery on 1/30/02 at Kaiser SSF. I want to wish her the best of luck and want her to know that we all are praying for her to get safely on the "Other Side". See ya when you get there.
