HI Jack..I am sue , but in the chat room I am called storm..from Michigan,,I had the weight loss surgery 35 days ago in Detroit Michigan,,I had open surgery,,and all went fine,,I was off pain meds in 3 days and walking a mile for my sugar free popsicles..every 3 hours,,( I am addicted to the darn things now,,LOL...I talk to kim dawn all the time in chat and she is a cool lady..I know your surgery will go like a breeze and you will be fine and on the road to a new happy safe healthy life..and God Bless you..see you on the THIN SIDE,,huggs,,storm

JACK!!!!!! WOW, CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU. I KNOW YOU ARE GETTING REAL EXCITED NOW. MY WIFE AND I BOTH HAD OPEN RNY'S IN 2001 AND HAVE LOST A COMBINED TOTAL OF 295 LBS, 200 OF THAT IS MY LOSS AND 95 IS HERS. I STARTED OUT AT 450 LBS AND HAD MY SURGERY IN OCT 2001 SO YOU CAN SEE HOW FAST YOU CAN LOSE THE LBS!! PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL, WE TRIED TO SEND YOU A SPECIAL MSG. I JUST WANTED TO SAY CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY! TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF, DRINK PLENTY OF WATER, TAKE ALL YOUR VITAMINS AND EXCERCISE WHEN THE DOC SAYS OK! YOU'LL BE JUST FINE! I SEE WE HAVE THE SAME SURGEON,(MY SURGERY IS MAY 28, 2002) SO I KNOW YOU ARE IN GOOD HANDS,AND WE WILL BE RECOVERING TOGETHER! REMEMBER, HE'S THE DIRECTOR OF TRANSPLANTATION SERVICES AT UNIVERSITY. THAT MEANS HE'S AMONG THE VERY BEST!
