Brian went to the doctors on Wed 11/13 and has lost another 20lbs. For a total of 67lbs since surgery. He is feeling great. He really watches what he eats. He tends to forget a lot about his vitamins but other than that he is doing very well. He goes back to the doctor on 12/13 and I will update you again. Everyone have a great turkey day!!!!!!!!

Brian is doing great. He went for his first po visit on 10/1 and lost 47lbs. He went back to work on 10/14. He had to punch new holes in his belt and he swims in his uniform. I forget when his next appt is but will keep everyone up to date.

Brian is doing fine. He came home yesterday 9/12. He will be on a pureed diet for the next 30 days. They didn't weigh him before he went home from the hospital but he says he feels like he's lost a little. I am so glad he is home as I was staying with him at the hospital too. I recommend that if you can stay with your spouse do so. Not that we had any problems with the staff but it is so much easier for the patient to know that if they need something that they don't need to wait. He is going like every 5-6 hours with out needing pain meds. He doesn't need to see his surgeon for 3-4 weeks. I'll continue to keep everyone informed. JoAnn Collier

Hi Everyone, Brian is doing this am. His surgery was yesterday. He walked into the OR about noon and the Dr talked to us at 345pm. He says he's not so much in pain as it hurts to breathe. He's sipping his 1oz of water every hour and letting ice chips melt in his mouth. Today will tell because they will be getting him out of bed. His does complain about the bed though. It's called a big boy because he's so big and he's too long for the bed so we have his feet proped up with pillows. Thank you to everyone with there wonderful thoughts and prayers. I hope everyone is doing well. JoAnn Collier
