"My 1st impression of him wasn't that great. He seemed very cold and distance with me. To day my opinion of him hasn't changed. We have only had one meeting. I am looking forward to my next appointment with him. The office staff is very nice and helpful. I wish he was a little warmer at my 1st meeting with him. He is hard core, but he has your best at hand. He is a super doctor to have. Aftercare is a major part of the program. Yes, there is a aftercare program in place. The doctor had a meeting where he went over all the risks of surgery. I would rate him overall 1-100> 89. Having both are great, but if I had to chose I would want surgical competence. Well, my opinion has changed over the last few months. Dr. Appel has nothing but the best interest in mind for his patients. Now i know this after so many months of working with him. He has done everything to keep me encouraged. The road work wasn't easy for me, but in the end worth every tear. His nursing staff are really a bunch of great women. Who never make you feel less than a human full of love and support."
