Heather, I know you would like a neutral post, but even though you are pagan, I can still pray for you! :) I have said a prayer that you will be in God's hands. I hope this surgery will be everything you want it to be! May your surgery go smoothly & recovery quickly! We share surgery dates! Mine is on the 4th too! I hope you are treated wonderfully by the hospital staff, & that no one judges you by your beliefs, hair color, anything!

Hello everyone. I just wanted to say that I appreciate your thoughts and well wishes. I do want to make a note, and i really hope I do nto offend anyone, but as my surgery date draws near, please bear in mind that I am pagan, and I do respect your thoughts and wishes, but would prefer comments to be more 'neutral' if you know what I mean. Again, I do really hope I havent offended anyone. Take care and I hope to see you all on the losing side VERY soon.

Hi, Heather! Just wanted to wish you congratulations on your surgery date; I read on your profile where it almost looked as if you weren't going to have surgery, but it looks as if everything has worked itself out! And what a birthday present! Just remember: sip and walk, sip and walk. Trust me, you don't want to become dehydrated! Good luck, I'm sure you're gonna do fine! Take care!

Hi Heather, I am also in Oak Park. I am going through LivLite in Warren. it has been wonderful. I will be getting my surgery by months end. I know a doctor in Taylor(depending on your insurance) who is a supporter of WLS and will give you no hassles on recommendation. Good luck, and email me if you any questions. Terri
