"My surgeons are the wonderful Dr. Carlos Carrasquilla and Dr. Wayne English. They have a professional establishment in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, dedicated to the care and assistance of the morbid obese. My first impression with this office was extremely wonderful. They are a supportive and very informative group. I liked best the structure of the process, ladies dedicated to inform, others dedicated to seek approvals, others take care of you and answer questions. Aftercare was emphasized since the initial consultation. Risks, as in all surgeries, were discussed by the Dr. at the initial consultation. I rate my doctor's office with a 10 out of 10. I would imagine that you always look for surgical competence, but I have to admit a doctor may be overqualified to handle a procedure but if I do not feel comfortable with him as a person, he/she is highly unlikely to be my doctor, no matter his credentials. At this point, I do not have anything negative to say about Dr. Carrasquilla or Dr. English. They are wonderful professionals with a heart."
