Hi, I'm Chris's daughter, Theresa. I just thought I'd let everyone know that she got out of the hospital on Monday and that she is doing really well. She is in very little pain and is moving around really well. I know she'd enjoy hearing from you all, she talks a lot about you! I just praise God for this surgery! She is such a special Mom! Howdy and happy Saturday Afternoon! I spoke to Chris this morning, her doctor said everything went as expected, and she sounded very good. Mr. Morphine is sticking close by, so she is in no discomfort. Her biggest complaint was "cotton mouth," but she still has her NG tube, so all she can do is suck on the swabbies they give you to refresh your mouth. She was expecting to sit in a chair this afternoon, and hopefully start walking tomorrow. Yay for Chris! I have a bad cold, so I didn't go visit today, but hopefully, I'll be well enough to go tomorrow.... Margie B

Chris, I have had you in my prayers since we met at the support meeting many months ago. I pray that your surgery went well and that you will heal promptley and have a wonderful, successful journey.
