David Greenbaum
"Dr. Greenbaum is a wonderful man who made me feel very comfortable when I met with him the first time. He answered most of my questions before I even asked them! He told me all of the risks..explained the procedures..even gave me a list of past patients phone numbers if I wanted to call and check up on his work.I have been corresponding with other patients of his, and they all seem to feel the same way. I am awaiting insurance approval before getting a date for surgery. His staff is great, too! They have helped me with appointments for pre tests, and been very supportive. All I can say is so far, he is great! I will update later as I go further into the process. UPDATE on Aug 4, 1999 - Dr. G's office called to tell me that I was APPROVED by my insurance! It was so wonderful to hear and the lady who called me sounded almost as excited as I did! That's another thing I love about this office..they seem to really care..and that is something many of us in this situation don't get a lot of. UPDATE on Sept 10, 1999 - Had surgery. A few complications..breathing problems and a short intestine, but it went well in the end. I am currently 2 weeks post op and feeling better daily. Dr. Greenbaum did a wonderful job, and he visited me everyday in the hospital. He has been there to answer my questions after surgery, and I have NO regrets about having this done so far. I have to thank Dr. Greenbaum for doing a great job..even though, as he said, I made him work for his money. "
