Hi Candace, I'm new to this message board but wanted to send my best wishes for a speedy and uneventful recovery. I had my surgery (lap RNY) on Nov. 7th, went home on Nov. 8th and back to work on 19th. No pain at all since the day of surgery. I pray you do as well and are up and about soon. God Bless You!! (((LOVE NEEDED))) CANDY gets up tomorrow morning and heads to the hosiptal for her BIG day...please take this last minute to write her and let her know how much we love and care for her...She is an AMAZING woman and I know she will do GREAT...sometimes we just need a little reassuring...CANDY YOU DESERVE THIS so much...I am so PROUD of YOU...Lots of Love, Deanna:) GO CANDY~!

Hi Candace! Wanted you to know that I am thinking of you. My surgery was on Wed and they let me go home today which is pretty good for an open RNY! I am doing fine and I want you to know that you will be fine too! Good Luck.....Emily

Candace: Wow, you are on your way soon! You will do fantastic, with all this support and prayers, how can you not? I had my surgery on 9/21/01, lap rny, out of the hospital in 2days and back to work at 2 1/2 weeks, and I am a nurse. I have not had any complications, and I know that is because of 2 things: 1)positive attitude, 2)lots of prayers from me to God, and from so many others praying for me. You go, girl, will see you on the lighter side!
