Hi Everyone :) I passed my doppler test for the second time today so no blood clots and surgery is once again a GO for Monday :) I still have a slight fever but am feeling so much better so I am confident that at 11:30 Monday morning they will be wheeling me into the O.R. and I will be smiling (due to the happy drug LOL). {{{HUGS}}} to all. *Take a little time for howlin' at the moon!* ><{{*>

Dear Jodi~~~~Read your post. I am so sorry that your surgery was postponed but very happy to know that your doc is so cautious. I will keep you in my prayers that the repeat doppler study goes well and that your surgery is rescheduled for Monday. Be well. Be blessed.

Jodi, I am so sorry that your surgery was cancelled, but I feel you have a great doctor. It is better to be safe than sorry. I know all will go well on Friday and you will be on the "losing" side on Monday. God bless you, sweetie.

Hi everyone ! It's me Jodi...and no I did not miraculously recover from surgery in an hour LOL My surgery was cancelled ...I was showing signs of a possible blood clot and I have a fever. While I was at the hospital they did a doppler type test right away and it showed zero clots but my doc wants to be extra careful and repeat the doppler test on friday. If and when (lol) the test comes back negative again I will have surgery on Monday the 28th at 11:30 am (that is if this dang fever cooperates and moves out). {{{{HUGS}}}} to all and a HUGE THANK YOU to my ^j^Angels^j^: Karen Byers and Mary K. Hope you two will stick with me LOL :) and also THANK YOU to all who sent me well wishes!!! I will be e-mailing all of you back soon but for now I must nap. That crying thing really wears a person out LOL. I am feeling very good now about the surgery being cancelled. I am so thankful I have a doc who is careful and genuinely concerned. Heck...he even came to the hospital just to give me a hug and talk to me a little more after we talked on the phone this morning and cancelled surgery! Bye for now my wonderful AMOS family...You are the "BESTEST"!!!! ;)

Hi Jodi, I am praying for you!!!! Hope all went well and I hhope your recovery is both easy and speedy. I am in the process of getting a consult with a surgeon and would love to her about your experience when you are feeling up to it. Godd Luck and congratulations on going to the "losing" side

Out of practice and out of shape (but not fot long ANGEL here!!!! I can't check on Jodi's status because I don't know her last name! I am so embarrassed. Please go to her page and send a cheery note, her surgery was this morning. Hopefully her husband, Jerry, will call me to tell me how her surgery and recovery is going. You guys ROCK! God bless.
