LEE~~May you always have an Angel by your side. Watching out for you in all the things you do. Reminding you to keep believing in brighter days. Finding ways for your wishes and dreams to come true. Giving you hope that is as certain as the sun. Giving you the strength of serenity as your guide. May you always have love and comfort and courage

Lee. I can't believe your husband will be gone during and after your surgery. Do you have a support group meeting you attend? I'd try to find someone who has had WLS to check up on you every day. Is your mother still alive. My mom flew in from CA to take care of my daughter and I right after my surgery. I'm sorry I don't live close to you or I'd volunteer to check up on you. Posting that you need a post-op buddy on the AMOS board might not be a bad idea. I've met complete strangers thru AMOS several times and they've become good friendships, locally and long distance. Good luck with your journey to get this surgery and please keep us updated as to your progress.

I can't believe I am not feeling scared yet. It looks like the Air Force will have my hubby out of the country during my surgery. He will be gone for several months. Maybe I am still in shock over all that is going on. I am sure it will set in after my pre-op appointment. Thanks for all the support.
