Thanks for all of the prayers that I received during my surgery. I had surgery on June 10 and am feeling pretty good, much better than I anticipated. Everything went very well during surgery but while in recovery by blood pressure dropped and they had to give me 2 units of blood. Yes I would still do this again. My pain has been very minimial. I have not taken pain medication since the morning after my surgery. Since I had to stay an extra night in the hospital I even refused the nausea and pain medication that night. This is my 4th day post op and I am having trouble learning to take things easy for a while. I keep walking, doing dishes, reading a little and watching a little TV(Soaps are my favorite). I will have my first office visit on Monday and will get the JP drain tube out then. The G tube will come out 3 weeks after that. I will do an update after my appointment on Monday.
